Trempette dirty martini

Dirty Martini Dip

My favorite cocktail is a vodka Dirty Martini. Bonus points if it has blue cheese stuffed castelvetrano olives. I quit drinking about a month ago and who knows when I'll start again... if I still want to enjoy my favorite cocktail, why not try it as a dip? I saw @cheesegal make a version of this dip on Instagram and had to put my spin on it. I swapped out the cream cheese and sour cream for a lighter option with Labneh and 0% Greek yogurt - it's just as delicious. If you don't like blue cheese, a creamy goat cheese would be a great option. Enjoy with my Almond Cheddar Crackers, Endive, and Dirty Martinis!!

Servings: 2 cups

Preparation: 15 minutes

Cooking: None

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup of Labneh
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese
  • 1 cup 0% Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp brine from the olive jar
  • ¼ cup non-alcoholic gin or vodka
  • Ground pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup pitted Castelvetrano olives, chopped (set a few aside for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped (about 3 tablespoons)
  • Dill, for garnish

Steps:

  1. Combine Labneh, most of the blue cheese, sour cream, nonalcoholic gin or vodka, olive brine, and spices in a large bowl using a whisk. Add chopped olives, chives, and shallots. Mix well, cover, and let sit in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  2. Arrange in pretty martini glasses and garnish with more chopped olives, crumbled blue cheese and dill. Enjoy with my Almond Cheddar Crackers, Endives and martinis if you're drinking them :) This is so good.
